Fionula Linehan

Fionula Linehan is an award-winning actress and drama teacher with CADA Performing Arts. She is a much-in-demand versatile performer with a penchant for comedy.

Favourite performances include The Factory Girls (Ellen), described by the play’s renowned writer, Frank McGuinness, as “perfect” in the part, Philadelphia, Here I Come (Auntie Lizzie), A Skull in Connemara (Maryjohnny), Bold Girls (Cassie), Over the Pub (Ellen), Lovers (Hannah) and Sisters (Martha).

Fionula revived the hairdresser in Ger FitzGibbon’s one woman play The Hairdresser’s Calendar last year, which returned by popular demand. She was last seen on stage in October in the hilarious heartfelt play Sexy Laundry.

She has enjoyed playing Mrs Tilly Tolly for the Tilly Tolly Radio play series for RTÉ Jr Radio.

Fionula returned to filming in the summer for The Young Offenders series having previously filmed for the original film and that famous bus scene.

She also voiced the character of Mrs Kent for the new animation film Fisherman’s Friend.

A stalwart of Panto at The Everyman, Fionula looks forward to the cheers, the boos and the “he’s behind yous”.
