Graham McDermott, who is originally from Youghal but now living in the UK, is delighted to be returning to his home county this Christmas season and joining the cast of Beauty and the Beast.
Graham currently works for Parkdean Resorts, the UK’S largest family holiday resort, as part of the entertainment team and one of the creative managers.
Graham fell in love with performing arts from a very young age, training with local performing arts groups and stage schools. In 2004, he became a student at CADA Performing Arts and he started his professional training and exams with LAMDA.
Theatre credits include Oliver!, The King and I, My Fair Lady, Showboat, Magic of the Musicals, Showstopper, Oklahoma and South Pacific (Youghal Musical Society); Fiddler on the Roof (Fermoy Musical Society); Cork on Show (Cork Opera House); Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Mother Goose, Aladdin, Red Riding Hood as ensemble and Dance Captain, Beauty and the Beast as Bougie, Aladdin as J’Nolike and Cinderella as Kourtney (The Everyman, Cork).
Graham also appeared on An Jig Gig and Glad Vegas (TG4) and Nationwide (RTÉ).
Graham has worked with Channel 5’s popular kids TV show Milkshake! Mornings at Parkdean Resorts as a main presenter. He also got the chance to work with American singer songwriter Todrick Hall as part of the street team leading up to his sell-out show at the London Palladium.
