Anth Kaley

Born in Sunderland in the Northeast of England, Anth Kaley started playing piano at 5 years old. He played his first paying gig at the age of 14 and decided there and then that this was his chosen path.

Since completing his BA Degree in Creative Arts, Anth has performed and recorded worldwide. He has tutored in piano, conducting and musical arrangement with Paul Engl (Berlin Philharmonic).

He has been Musical Director/Pianist for various theatre and stage productions in the UK and abroad
including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Bill Kenwright Productions), Little Shop of Horrors (Provincial Tour, Philip Permutt Productions), Dick Whittington Panto (Princess Theatre, Torquay and Wyvern Theatre, Swindon), The Celtic Tenors (Queens Hall, Southbank, London; EMI Classic), Colm CT Wilkinson (Great Hall of the People, Beijing; live TV Special Olympics), Colm CT Wilkinson (Carlton Hilton Hotel, Shanghai; live TV Special Olympics), The Vard Sisters (various performances inc. The National Concert Hall, Dublin); The Celtic Tenors (various performances inc. The National Concert Hall, Dublin), Dolores Keane (various tours worldwide), Seán Keane (various tours worldwide) Niamh Kavanagh (Ireland, UK, Germany and USA, inc. recording sessions) and Riverdance (relief Musical Director Worldwide).

He composed ‘The Penny Falls’ for Seán Keane.

During his travels he has worked with some top-class musicians and performers, such as Jerry Lee Lewis, Nana Mouskouri, Colm CT Wilkinson, Dolores Keane, Seán Keane, Kieran Goss, Frances Black, Niamh Kavanagh, The Vard Sisters, The Celtic Tenors, Linda Martin, Johnny Logan, Kieran Halpin, Declan Sinnott, The International Blues Band and others.

TV work includes Let me entertain you with Gerry Ryan (BBC / RTÉ Co-production), The Late Late Show with various artists (RTÉ), Kenny Live with various artists (RTÉ) and Special Olympics Concerts (China Central Television).
