Jessica Healy-Rettig

Jessica has worked in professional theatre in Cork and around the country for the past twenty years as Costume Designer, Supervisor and Costume Maker. She particularly enjoys being part of the creative process from concept to finish and has worked on every type of show from plays to musicals, pantomime, dance and opera. This is Jessica’s ninth pantomime with CADA and The Everyman.

Theatre credits include Costume Co-Ordinator for 2023 and 2019 Cork Proms (Cork Opera House); Costume Designer for The Settling (BrokenCrow Theatre Company); Guests of the Nation (Corcadorca Theatre Company); The Sisters, A Great Arrangement and Jack (Pat Talbot Productions); Costume Supervisor for Prodijig: The Revolution and The Wizard of Oz (Cork Opera House);  Costume Designer for Many Young Men of Twenty (The Everyman); Costume Designer for Singin’ in the Rain (Cork Opera House); Assistant Costume Designer for Faust, Der Vampyr, Orpheus and Irish Times award-winning Pagliacci (The Everyman and Cork Operatic Society); Costume Supervisor for Maria De Buenos Aires (Cork Opera House); Costume Supervisor for Romeo and Juliet, Plasticine and The Hairy Ape (Corcadorca);  Costume Designer for The King and I at The Helix; three years at Wexford Festival Opera in 2005–2007 and a nationwide tour of Knots with Coiscéim Dance Theatre. Jessica also worked as Costume Designer and Supervisor for Donna’s Dance Studio Danceworks for eight years.

Jessica studied Theatre Production and Design at CSN in Cork, Pattern Cutting at The London College of Fashion and holds a Diploma in Image and Fashion Styling. Jessica also works as a freelance Personal Stylist (theartofstyle.ie).
