Olan Wrynn is delighted to be back in The Everyman with the CADA Panto team. Olan is a native of Cork and has worked in theatre for twenty years. He spent a few years acting before heading behind the scenes, becoming company manager for Graffiti Theatre Company. He soon began designing for them and subsequently became a freelance designer. In 2007, Olan obtained a Masters degree in Drama and Theatre Studies from UCC. Since then, he has been designing and building sets.
Some of his favourite designs include The Sleep That Ceased to Settle, Trasna, Walking Man and A Day in the Life of a Pencil for Graffiti; Factory Girls and Lovers for The Everyman; Wet Paint for Pat Talbot Productions; Fred and Alice for Callback Theatre; T’was the Night before Christmas for Branar; Guerrilla Days in Ireland! for GDI productions; West Side Story and The Sunbeam Girls for Cork Opera House; Un Ballo in Maschera for Opera2005; and, of course, Aladdin, Red Riding Hood, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella and Jack and the Beanstalk for CADA and The Everyman.
