Andrew McCarthy is 25 years old and is glad to once be a cast member in The Everyman Panto in his hometown. In 2020 Andrew graduated with first class honours from a BFA in Musical Theatre from The American College Dublin.
Work to date includes A Grand Night for Singing with the ACD in the World Performing Arts Centre Florida, USA in 2017; Greg Gardner in A Chorus Line in Smock Alley Theatre Dublin in 2019, Bogdan Vladu in Mad Forest in Smock Alley Theatre in January 2020. He also was a featured Soloist in the ACD Showcase at the Abbey Theatre Dublin in 2020. Andrew has also performed as a cast member in both Ibiza (Spain) and Rhodes (Greece) for Live Business and TUI in 2021.
Andrew also has experience as Director and Assistant Director. He directed The Hold Up in the European debut of the Short and Sweet Festival in the Sean O’Casey Theatre 2019 where his play was nominated for Best Director, Best Writer and Best Male Actor.
In 2019 Andrew was both the Assistant Stage Director and played the Pied Piper in RTÉ Junior Panto Once Upon a Time at Christmas.
He has recently been involved with multiple filming works which will be released in the near future.
