Siomha Marron has been a member of CADA Performing Arts since the age of 8 and now teaches musical theatre in the academy. She is currently in her third year of studying Music in MTU, Cork School of Music, specialising in Irish Traditional Music (fiddle and harp).
Siomha has Gold Medals in Lamda exams for both Acting and Musical Theatre. She has completed grade 8 exams in violin and traditional fiddle. Siomha also has many prizes from competing at Fleadhanna Ceol at County, provincial and All-Ireland level in Solo, duet, trio and group competitions, as well as numerous prizes in Feis Maitiu and Scor over the years.
Siomha’s early pantos were spent in the junior chorus, as she got older moving up to become a handmaiden and went on to understudy Cinderella and Goose in Cinderella (2019). She has also performed in Cats (Camden Palace), Les Misérables (Firkin Crane), The Little Mermaid as Ariel (Firkin Crane) and Mamma Mia as Donna (Firkin Crane). She also performed as a part of the MTU Musical Society InterVarsities in Thurles in April 2022 performing a medley from The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Siomha is delighted to be back in pantoland this Christmas in what will be her 11th panto and hopes everyone enjoys the show!!!
