Kelli-Ann Masterson

Kelli-Ann Masterson is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin (BMus Ed) and TU Dublin (MMus). She is a former member of both the Irish National Opera Studio 2019–21 and the Northern Ireland Opera Studio 2018–19 and has won both PwC Wexford Festival Opera Emerging Young Artist Bursary and the Liam Healy Bursary at Wexford Festival Opera. Other awards include first prize in both the Dramatic Cup and Margaret Burke Sheridan cup at Feis Ceoil and the Ely O’Carroll Gold Medal at DIT Conservatory of Music. Recent engagements with Irish National Opera include Marzelline in Beethoven’s Fidelio and Rebecca in Amanda Feery’s A Thing I Cannot Name. Other notable roles include La Fée in Viardot’s Cendrillon (Wexford Festival Opera Short Works); Duchess/Bottle in Will Todd’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Donal in Raymond Deane’s Vagabones and Vespetta in Telemann’s Pimpinone (Opera Collective Ireland); Irene Buckley’s Ghost Apples (in Irish National Opera’s 20 Shots of Opera); Chloé in Offenbach’s Daphnis et Chloé (Northern Ireland Opera) and Despina in Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte (Clyde Opera Group). Other opera roles in 2022 have included Amor in Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice with Blackwater Valley Opera Festival and the title role in Handel’s Semele with Opera Collective Ireland.
