Four Faced Theatre Company is proud to present Glue as part of CATALYST, a new collaboration between The Everyman and Cork Arts Theatre, supported by Cork City Council Arts Office.
Glue is a vignette of the life of a girl caught in the typical throes of young adulthood. relationships, sex, theft, girls’ nights out, girls’ nights in, more theft, glue, boyfriends, breaks from boyfriends, siblings, death, God, car air fresheners, lipstick, lies… the list goes on.
But it’s like that for everyone sure, isn’t it?
Glue is a piece for one female performer and a willing audience, all happening in a narrow window of time as she waits for a fateful phone call. The audience becomes complicit in covering up the petty crimes committed by herself and her “oh so important” beau, Kev, as she fills them in on the story of how she has become the unwilling mule for his adrenaline addiction and kleptomania.
