Mick Hurley began his career at Cork Opera House where his design credits include Grease, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Michael Collins, Dido & Aeneas, West Side Story, The Nina in Me and Jesus Christ Superstar, along with a number of pantomime productions. Recent design work include The Same, Contact and The Spin (all for Corcadorca) and How It Is (Part 2) (Gare St Lazare). Mick has worked across opera, drama and musical theatre, with other highlights that include Faust, Der Vampyr and Orpheus (The Everyman / Cork Operatic Society); Guerilla Days in Ireland (GDI Productions / Verdant Productions) and Romeo and Juliet (video design, Corcadorca / Cork Opera House).
Mick also works in the live events sector as a technical director and event technologist.
