Aisling McCarthy is a performer from Cork. In 2017 she graduated from the Cork School of Music and was awarded Student of the Year for the highest-placed Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Theatre and Drama Studies Year 4.
In the summer of 2018 she performed in Lex Talionis (A Tale of Vengeance & Feathers) as part of the Cork Midsummer Festival. The show was nominated for three awards in the Dublin Fringe Festival in September (2018), before returning to the Cork Arts Theatre for another run in October. She was due to partake in the Cork Midsummer Festival again in summer 2020 in a rehearsed reading of Green Feather Boa, a new play written by Ruti Lachs. She is hopeful that it will be shared with an audience in the near future.
