Anne-Marie Papin Labazordiere studied the harp both in Paris (Premier Prix, Maison des Conservatoires) and London (Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Harp Performance, Royal College of Music). In between, at 17, still undecided about her future, Anne-Marie started a degree in languages (English and Russian) in the university of Nantes. However, playing and touring with the COGE (Choeur et Orchestre des Grandes Ecoles) at the same time convinced her that music was the path to choose.
Shortly after moving to Ireland, Anne-Marie was appointed Harp Teacher in Churchtown School of Music, Dublin, where she stayed for 10 years before moving to Cork. Anne-Marie became Harp Lecturer in Cork School of music in 2019.
As a freelance musician, Anne-Marie has played with Cork Opera House Concert Orchestra, RTÉ Symphony Orchestra, RTÉ Concert Orchestra, Ulster Orchestra, Wexford Opera Festival, Musici Ireland, London Concertante and more.
