Graham Butler-Breen

Graham Butler-Breen is an Irish performer, theatre maker and artist based in both Ireland and the UK. He is a graduate from London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) where he was awarded his Master’s Degree in Theatre Lab. He is an alumnus of University College Dublin (UCD) and the UCD Ad Astra Performing Arts Academy.

His recent credits include a 2022 Autumnal tour of The Kaspar Hauser Experiment with Animikii Theatre and previously an original self-directed solo performance titled The Pure Narcissist (2021 & 2022). Graham is a co-founder of Luna Collective, a new wave theatre collective in Dublin. He has performed in several Luna productions including Samovar (2020) by Frank McGuinness and AGOG (2020). He has written and directed several projects with Luna Collective including AGOG and Legos and has co-writing and co-directing credits on 100 Shades of Being.

Graham’s radio play Pertransiit Benefaciendo: (He) Went About Doing Good (2020) was performed as part of Porcelain Theatre’s Ghost Light series. He has montaged, directed and devised work Lights Up, Heads Down (2019). Additionally, he has facilitated and directed work as part of the Erasmus+ programme in Spain (Speechless, Teatrel On&Off) and Catalonia (Play the Change 2, Pirineus Creatius).
