Killian Collins

Killian Collins first met Irene Kelleher in 2003 when, as teenagers, they both featured in Trevor Ryan’s production of Our Day Out at the CAT Club. Since then, they have collaborated many times including ‘Tis Pity She’s A Whore in 2011 and the 2014 production of The Turn of the Screw at Smock Alley, Dublin and The Everyman, Cork. In 2019, he directed the original production of The Misfit Mythology, one of Irene’s original plays, and now presented as a special live audio broadcast from The Everyman stage (2020).

Killian has worked as an actor, director and production manager on over 60 productions of plays, musicals, pantomimes and concerts at venues including Cork Opera House; The Everyman; Olympia, Dublin; Theatre Royal Waterford; INEC Killarney; Old Red Lion, London and Esplanade Singapore. Some acting and directing highlights include The Outgoing Tide, This Lime Tree Bower, Jesus Hopped the ‘A’ Train, The Collector, Michael Collins, The ‘ALL STAR’ Wars, One for the Road, Caught in the Net, All My Sons, Takin’ Over the Asylum, The Music Man and Hot Mikado.

Killian is the theatre manager at the Dean Crowe Theatre and Arts Centre, Athlone.
