His puppet character Basher Bacon became the presenter of The Swamp, which ran as RTÉ’s weekend and summer links programme for four years. More recently in theatre, he has worked with Gare St Lazare Ireland, as Pozzo in their acclaimed production of Waiting for Godot, touring to Shanghai and New York. Over the past few years he has been performing his new self-penned one man show Mr Punch in Cork to rave reviews. Other more recent work include Jack and Erin Connolly in The Everyman, Beneath Our Feet for Painted Bird in St Multose Church, Kinsale, and Here’s a Penny in the Cork Arts Theatre Club.
