Working with YMCA Cork with the support of the Abbey Theatre

WED 13 SEP–15 NOV, Weekly
Live at The Everyman

Theatre Making and Citizenship Cork is delighted to partner with YMCA Cork and the Abbey Theatre in the delivery of weekly workshops.

“TMACC is an amazing, warm and exciting programme for young people to find their voices, feel part of a group and connect with other. Five stars!” – Participant Feedback Summer 2023

Autumn 2023 – The Everyman continues our dedicated engagement programme with a free, fun, creative youth-led programme for 15 young people aged 16 to 19 years!

During weekly afternoon sessions, young people are introduced to cultural citizenship and theatre through conversation, engagement and creation.

Participants are supported through dedicated engagement to become theatre makers themselves – explore writing, devising, designing, technical craft and performance as well as engaging with live theatre and performance.

At the heart of this project is the role of theatre and how young people can shape the future of accessible theatre in Ireland.

10 in-person sessions, led by two experienced drama facilitators and supported by a youth worker

From Wed 13 Sep | 2–4pm
