Jonathan White was born in Dublin, grew up in New York and for 50 years has plied his trade as an actor on stages, screens and wireless sets the length and breadth of Ireland and beyond.
Most recently, he was seen in George Fitzmaurice’s The Magic Glasses at Bewley’s and in James Joyce’s The Dead (ANU/Landmark/MoLI).
His screen credits range from Ripper Street and Veronica Guerin to Bosco and Father Ted.
On radio, he is a regular contributor to Sunday Miscellany and has been heard in over 200 plays and drama series, in addition to the celebrated Scrap Saturday.
