Shane Casey is a comedy writer performer hailing from Cork, Ireland. He is best known for his role as Billy Murphy in BBC’s award winning comedy The Young Offenders. Other film work includes The Runaway (Element Films) and Kevin in The Wind That Shakes the Barley, directed by Ken Loach (16 Films).
He is also a stage actor and wrote and starred in the critically acclaimed stage show Wet Paint. He starred in Autumn Royal (The Everyman / Kevin Barry, 2017), God Bless the Child (Patrick Talbot Productions) and Love Peace and Robbery, by Liam Heylin (Cork Arts Theatre).
