Broadcaster, writer, actor, producer, Alf McCarthy’s honey-coated voice was one of the most recognised on RTÉ Radio 1. Hailed as the Gaybo of Cork, for more than three decades he dominated our radio waves with his positive warmth, fun-loving energy, innate intelligence and a deep-rooted knowledge on almost everything. These skills transferred effortlessly to The Everyman stage when he joined his beloved Sunday Songbook family in 2017, attracting legions of new fans.

On Sunday 7 July, join them and some very special guests for a Sunday Songbook to celebrate this bona fide Cork legend, Alf McCarthy.
