Do you want to champion artists? Help develop & support breath-taking performances and new writing? Invest in culture and in your community?
To make a dynamic impact on arts and culture in Cork, please consider supporting The Everyman and the work that we do.
Since 1897 The Everyman has been a vital part of Ireland’s cultural heritage and a centre of creativity for Cork.
We tell inspirational stories and host unforgettable performances in a beautiful venue.
We have welcomed audiences in excess of 100,000 every year and with you on our side we can build our audiences and invest in an institution which serves future generations.
Only 8% of our income comes from government, which means our donors, supporters, friends and members are crucial in helping us to continue to champion artists, to produce theatre of the highest quality and to be a valuable cultural asset to our community.
With your help, we want to continue taking artistic risks, developing exciting partnerships, seeking out compelling collaborations and investing in new talent.
Together, we can ensure that Cork will always have The Everyman as the thriving cultural institution that Cork deserves.

“Be a part of the magic that is The Everyman.”
The 650 seats of The Everyman are nestled in the beautiful, listed auditorium, a jewel of late Victorian architecture. The theatre is part of Cork’s rich history and a favourite with audiences and performers for its intimacy and atmosphere.

The cost of sponsoring a seat, with your own dedicated plaque is €300.
You will also receive a special certificate of sponsorship which will include your dedication, your seat number and a photograph of the plaque in place on the seat.

Closing our theatre temporarily has been an extremely difficult but necessary decision, the safety of our audiences, artists, volunteers and staff is always paramount. This has left us, like so many of our patrons, in very challenging circumstances.
We will come through this current crisis with your help and support.
We promise you that we will hold true to our vision and mission to remain the beating heart of theatre in Cork and to keep our audience at the heart of everything we do.
The Spanish flu brought our curtains down in 1919 but the theatre prevailed with the support of its audiences. Please support us again, to ensure we can raise our curtain for you following our temporary closure.
Every donation count, no matter the size.
We look forward to welcoming you back soon. We hope you are all staying safe and staying strong during this difficult time.
If you would like to specify how your donation will be spent, please contact our Fundraising & Development Manager, Anna Marie Coughlan directly below.
