Cllr Kenneth O'Flynn

Kenneth O’Flynn is a businessman and public representative. He was appointed to Cork City Council in 2008, and then re-elected in 2009 and 2014 for Cork North Central Ward. Ken was also Elected Deputy Lord Mayor of Cork in 2014.

Ken also has wide-ranging experience in the business world, having served as the U.K. Manager for one of the world’s largest international property companies, employing more than 2000 people, and a one-time regular guest on Overseas Property TV and Real Estate TV.

In 2011, Ken, with a group of his Fianna Fail colleagues, introduced a series of motions which led to the abolition of clamping in the City Centre, bringing a new lease of life into the city with more people encouraged to shop.

Ken is currently the Managing Director of KOF Financial Services Ltd. He sits on the board of directors of several international companies.
