Award-winning directing duo, Michael Barker-Caven and John O’Brien, reunited following the triumph of their production of Pagliacci in 2012. With the creative talent of Lisa Zagone, The Everyman stage was transformed into a witch’s coven of blood curdling intrigue, for Cork Midsummer Festival 2014.
With a cast of international singers, a large local chorus and a spine-tingling acting ensemble of vampires, witches and living visions of the undead, The Everyman turned opera into a spectacular visual spectacle.
★★★★★ “a superb production … For voices, for music, for setting — and, yes, for horrors aplenty and shivers up the spine — you won’t do better than Der Vampyr.” – Irish Examiner (click HERE to read full review)
