The recently formed Ora Quartet consists of Siún Milne and Molly O’Shea on violin, Ali Comerford on viola and Yseult Cooper Stockdale on cello. All four play extensively in a wide variety of ensembles, including the National Symphony Orchestra, the Irish Chamber Orchestra, the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Ficino Ensemble, Irish National Opera, Crash Ensemble, Kirkos, The Vanbrugh and many others.
After enjoying many years playing together, they decided in 2023 that it was time to join as a quartet. Following their debut at Fuddlefest in August of last year, they have been invited to perform several nationwide tours with the National String Quartet Foundation (the first taking place this February), as well as independent concerts and series such as this exciting project in The Everyman.
