The White Horse Guitar Club
FRI 3 MAY, 8PM
Live at The Everyman

With 11 men, 11 voices and 11 guitars, The White Horse Guitar Club masterfully imbues roots americana with an Irish soul.

After two sold-out Irish tours in 2023 and having accumulated over one million views on YouTube, plus having been invited by President Michael D. Higgins to perform at Áras an Uachtaráin, the band continues to captivate with their live shows. Filled with stirring and powerful emotions, The White Horse Guitar Club unveils a treasure trove of songs – reimagined and delivered with pristine authenticity – ensuring each performance is a timeless journey through the heart of their musical narrative.

This spring, the band is set to captivate the audience with a series of exclusive, one-of-a-kind performances. Step into the historic and ornate theatre, The Everyman, and join The White Horse Guitar Club, who will play fresh tracks from their upcoming album, alongside beloved classics that have solidified their ever-growing fanbase at home and around the globe.

“There is an authenticity to The White Horse Guitar Club’s performance in which the musicians allow themselves to take all the risks while delivering a very professional concert. This has the great effect of making the experience a very personal one for everyone in attendance. Good for the heart and soul – the music knows no borders.” – Michael D. Higgins, Uachtarán na hÉireann, President of Ireland

“The White Horse Guitar Club – taking Ireland and the rest of the world by storm” – Cerys Matthews, BBC 6 Music

“I’m completely amazed with them, overwhelmed really… It’s mysterious, sensitive and complete. Go see them!” – Tim O’Brien, Grammy Winning Singer-Songwriter

“The White Horse Guitar Club not only prove there is strength in numbers in this reimagined version of Townes Van Zandt classic, but also a deep and sensitive beauty in their collective musicality” – Fiachna Ó’Braonáin, RTÉ Radio 1

“Lovely… its unique when you get so many guitars. That collective singing is so good for the soul” – John Creedon, RTÉ Radio 1

“They are spreading joy.” – Lillian Smith, RTÉ Radio 1

“Really beautiful” – Tom Dunne, Newstalk Radio

“Well, this is just joyous. This is music to make you smile, to make you want to sing along and to make you feel part of the fun. There are eleven men and their guitars having a fabulous time. Simple as that. Their musicianship is also excellent, of course – fast fingers, intricate playing and a soaring collective vocal…This is all about great connections within the band and with an audience, promising to be a magical live experience. Check it out. And wouldn’t it be amazing for The White Horse Guitar Club to inspire others to do the same, groups of musicians coming together and playing for the simple joy of it. We want to see guitar clubs appearing all over” – Andrew Frolish, Americana UK
