Dan Butler

Dan Butler is an American actor from Huntington, Indiana.

His many acting credits include in Broadway: Travesties and Twentieth Century (Roundabout); Biloxi Blues (Neil Simon); The Hothouse (Broadway) and off-Broadway/Regional: Lessons in Survival (The Commissary / Vineyard Theatre); The Weir (Irish Rep, both on stage and virtual – 2020); WarholCapote (A.R.T.); The Insurgents (Labyrinth); Laughing Wild, Slow Food and Misery (all at Dorset Theatre Festival); Toast (Public); Irish Curse (Soho Playhouse); Old Money (Lincoln Center); The Only Thing Worse You Could’ve Told Me… (Actor’s Playhouse, Drama Desk / Outer Critics nominations); Beast and Emerald City (New York Theatre Workshop); The Lisbon Traviata (Manhattan Theatre Club / Mark Taper Forum); Widow Claire (Circle in the Square Downtown) and True West (Cherry Lane Theatre).

Film credits include Blonde; Crazy Stupid Love; Karl Rove, I Love You (co-writer/director/producer); Pearl (adaptor/director); Enemy of the State; Fixing Frank; Long Walk Home and Silence of the Lambs.
