Anna Short began her career in fundraising at children’s mental health charity Place2Be, and from there she moved into fundraising events at ABF The Soldiers’ Charity. In 2013 Anna joined Act IV, a small consultancy working in the arts, non-profit and corporate sector. Act IV undertakes strategic consultancy projects with international museums, small UK arts organisations and universities. Act IV works to generate income through fundraising events and to connect those raising money with new prospective supporters; enabling businesses to build creative relationships with charities, arts organisations and artists.
Act IV also helps corporate supporters to develop associations with artists and institutions and curates artistic programmes, talks, films and performances for companies and charities. Being a part of Act IV has given Anna the opportunity to progress to more strategic development projects, alongside leading on all aspects of fundraising event planning and delivery for a range of dynamic and inspirational clients.
Anna is a Special Advisor to the Kreitman Foundation, a grant-making body committed to tackling the climate crisis. Anna lives in London (UK) with her husband and two small children.
